The VPL-VW890ES (with dual 18Gbps HDMI 2.0b) is the premium
2,200 lumen model that adds ARC-F lenses (€ 24,999) . ARC-F stands for All
Range Crisp Focus (lens), an 18-piece, 15-group all-glass lens design, aimed at
transferring 4K images on the screen as faithfully as possible from edge to
edge. ARC-F lenses employ six "ELD" (Extra Low Dispersion) elements:
three positives and three negatives, to control dispersion, maintaining focus
on the entire color spectrum and preventing drop in color rendering in high
contrast transitions.
In addition, the laser system used on GTZ380, VW5000ES,
VW890ES and VW790ES maintains high consistency for brightness and color, a more
precise contrast, no lamp changes. and the possibility of reaching 20,000 hours
of use without maintenance.

The "Super Resolution" function analyzes the image
in terms of pixels , using algorithms to improve its vision with more effective
upscaling of video material, including SD or Full HD, towards 4K.
Compared to the lenses, the front element is aspherical ,
composed of a plastic polymer, combined with glass elements. In fact, plastic
lends itself more, and at a lower cost, to take on an aspherical shape, while
glass is useful for heat tolerance. As for the gaming world with 4K HDR 60p
signals, the input lag is further lowered to 27 ms , which is also the lowest
response time for a VPR at this resolution and a more than decent result even
